A simple twisted rope design compliments the nautical blue lapis. These cufflinks were a special order and at first the customer didn't want any trim around the stones. One would think it would be easy to find beautiful, domed, grade AAA lapis cabs in virtually any size, but it turned out to be a challenge. These hand-selected matching stones were about 1 mm smaller than the customer wanted, but he agreed the rope trim worked to make the overall size he liked.
