The lovely centerpiece has a tiny spot of drusy at right center. The agatized wood is a very soft, deep charcoal color so there was a bit of a problem matching it. Black onyx would have been much too shiny and black, and much too heavy. The Madagascar jet was perfect, light weight with a similar soft deep color. The jet beads drape beautifully when you wear this piece, making pretty little scallops all around the neck. |
