I cut out the backing of this piece right along the opening to emphasize the valley, but the stone is very well supported. If you click on "details" you may be able to see the black part of the stone has the same hole pattern as the light part has, although from a slight distance it looks shiny black. It is a fascinating stone (but then I find every stone a marvel!). The necklace is signed and dated. The earrings are asymmetrical, for pierced ears, with sterling posts. You'll see them when you click "details." Each earring is meant to reflect the necklace, with a tiny "V"-shaped pearl and black wiggly beads around it. One of the earrings has a long fringe like the necklace. |
