Although I didn't make this little sterling rosebud, I thought it was quite charming. Did you know that it is quite difficult to match pearls to sterling? Almost all pearls today are dyed or treated in some way, and most of the grey ones have fabulous blue, pink and purple highlights -- which absolutely kill sterling! The pearls in this necklace are a soft plain grey which complement the rosebud. The necklace is hand knotted on silk. As you can see, you can wear it at various lengths. |
