You already know I'm in love with animals and with these carvings from the Wounaan Indian carvers (see more carvings at Red Horse Ranch). This perky toucan reminded me about the tiny vintage German glass "bananas" I had stashed away (thank you Marcie and The Shepherdess!), and so I added a little bunch for him to nibble on. The hibiscus is very delicately carved and beautifully colored. The needlewoven necklace is encrusted with curiousities. |
