As you can probably tell, I'm in love with Italian Mosaics! If you click on the detailed image, you will see how charming and delicate the little centerpiece is. The soft heishi blends very nicely with the aged metal. This mosaic is an unusual shape. And, in case you're wondering, it takes forever to make the pattern in the fringe look right given the uneven thickness of each tiny sliver of heishi! |
