This necklace came about because I found some gorgeous rhodocrosite beads. The color in this photo is much paler than the beads, which are made from luscious intensely colored material, well cut to take advantage of the banding. The pearls have a pinkish cast to complement them. The rondelles make a lovely tinkling sound. The real find was the long rhodocrosite beads which transform a non-ordinary collection of beautiful stones into a wonderful design statement. |
